Analytics cookies, only with your consent where the law asks for it
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are useful. In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, it loads only after you accept it in the banner, and declining is as easy as accepting. Elsewhere, it runs by default and you can turn it off. Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts visits, without cookies. We set no advertising cookies.
You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, at the foot of every page.
What can be stored, and when
| What | Set by | When | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga and _ga_ cookies | Google Analytics | Only after you accept (EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland), or by default elsewhere | To count visits and see which pages are useful. They last up to two years. Declining or withdrawing removes them. |
| Your cookie choice | This site | When you choose in the banner or in Cookie settings | So we don't ask again for 12 months. It's kept in your browser's storage, not in a cookie, and isn't sent to us. |
| Your language choice | This site | When you pick a language | So the site opens in that language next time. It's kept in your browser's storage, not in a cookie, and isn't sent to us. |
| One value for the length of your visit | This site | On your first page | So the opening animation plays only once. It's deleted when you close the tab. |
| YouTube or Vimeo cookies | YouTube, Vimeo | Only after you press play on a film | Set by those players under their own policies. YouTube loads in privacy-enhanced mode and Vimeo with do-not-track. |
| Calendly cookies | Calendly | Only after you open the booking link | Set on Calendly's own site. |
Every film shows a still until you press play, with a note saying whether it plays on YouTube or Vimeo. You can clear stored data at any time in your browser settings.
