What AI changes — and what it doesn’t

Generative tools now handle previsualization, versioning, localization, and certain kinds of footage that once demanded a full shoot day. What they don’t replace is judgment: direction, story structure, performance, edit, and color. Every AI-assisted project at SCHAAF is directed and finished by Alan Schaaf, the same as any film we make.
